At the heart of CULTEXP Foundation Hosted by the CNRS Foundation, is CULTEXP the primary output of EURO-EXPERT and CULTEX Proof of Concept, two European Research Council funded frontier research projects which involve legal experts, social scientists, IT developers, and AI engineers from across the globe led by Professor Livia Holden, an internationally acknowledged scholar known for her unwavering commitment to social justice. She has been several times grantee of the European Research Council and other prestigious research awards, for the theory of cultural expertise as a tool advancing social justice. Among her several awards and recognitions, she has been also nominated as Outstanding Academic Woman by the Swiss National Foundation. At present, she is CNRS Director of Research, affiliated at Panthéon Sorbonne Paris 1, Institut des Sciences Juridique et Philosophique. The strategic committee of the CULTEXP Foundation hosted by the CNRS Foundation, includes distinguished figures in socio-legal scholarship such as Professor Ulrike Schultz, a lawyer and Senior Academic specialised with gender and law, Professor John Campbell, Emeritus at SOAS University of London, as well as Sohail Zahir, who brings extensive experience in philanthropy, education, and fundraising to the table.
